On Saturday 10th May 2008, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Radosław Sikorski, met with the President of the European Parliament, Mr Hans-Gert Pöttering, during his visit to Warsaw on the occasion of the Schuman Parade, which concluded the celebration of the ‘15th Polish European Meetings’.

         On 8th May 2008, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Mr Radosław Sikorski, visited Denmark. During his stay in Copenhagen, Minister R. Sikorski met the Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Per Stig Moller, as well as the Committee for Foreign Affairs of the Danish Parliament, the Folketing.

        As a result of deteriorating security conditions within the Lebanese Republic, the closure of the international airport in Beirut and the establishment of roadblocks along border crossings with Syria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Polish citizens to refrain from visiting Lebanon until the current situation has stabilised.
