Help for tourists in Bangkok in connection with the blockade of airports

In connection with the blockade of two airports in Bangkok, please be informed that the Thai authorities are providing free-of-charge food and accommodation for people who due to the above-mentioned situation have not been able to travel on reserved flights. Information regarding hotels with free places can be obtained by calling the following telephone numbers:

People who have organised their own accommodation will be able to receive a reimbursement of money spent up to 2000 Baht per person/per day. More information can be obtained at the telephone numbers given above.

Furthermore, two coordination centres have been established where all tourists whose flights have been cancelled should register:

1. Mariott Hotel, Sukhumvit Soi 2, Bangkok
2. Century Park Hotel, 9 Ratchaprarop Road, Dindaeng-Pratunam, Bangkok

Personal data, a contact number and preferred destination information should be left at these centres. The centre shall provide up-to-date information about possible flights.
