Pakistan’s police confirmed they have arrested the prime suspects behind the September 2008 abduction of the Polish geologist Piotr Stańczak. Ever since the abduction, the authorities of Poland and Pakistan have been working closely together in order to hunt down and sentence those responsible for the kidnapping and death of Piotr Stańczak.

The suspects captured were resident in the region directly adjacent to the camp of the Polish geophysical contractor ‘Geofizyka Kraków’ in the Pakistani district of Attock. According to police reports they are directly responsible for the kidnapping and will be held accountable for the murder of the three Pakistani employees of ‘Geofizyka Kraków’. Criminal charges will be pressed against all of the captured men.
