Regional security organization's drills in Russia enter active stage

Law enforcement agencies and special services of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states will begin today the active stage of their anti-terrorism drills. The aim is to organize cooperation among national antiterrorism centers, special services and law enforcement bodies of the SCO member states to implement measures to prevent acts of terrorism in crowded places. Iran plans to work on the discovery and extraction of uranium, ISNA news agency said on Wednesday citing the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. Iran test fires new short-range missile

Iran has successfully test fired a short-range Fateh 110 missile. The third-generation Fateh 110-class missile is an indigenous product, designed and built entirely by Iran. It has a range of 150-200 kilometers. The deliveries to the Iranian Armed Forces would start in the coming weeks. (RFE)

In one of the broadest assaults on Iraq’s security forces, insurgents unleashed a wave of roadside mines and a more than a dozen car bombs across Iraq on Wednesday, killing dozens, toppling a police station in the capital and sowing confusion among the soldiers and police who Respondek.
