Secretary of State for European Affairs Mikołaj Dowgielewicz has today arrived in Bucharest for a two-day visit, where he is to meet presidential adviser for European affairs Leonard Orban, MFA Secretary of State for European Union Affairs Bogdan Mazuru and Minister-Director of the Department for European Affairs Bogdan Manoiu.
The visit is aimed at addressing current European issues, including the future of the EU budget, the reform of the common agricultural policy, cohesion policy, global negotiations on climate as well as financial issues. The visit’s programme will also see Secretary of State Dowgielewicz set out the priorities of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union due in the second half of 2011.
