In connection with the signing ceremony for the agreement between the government of the Republic of Poland and the government of the United States of America regarding the placement in Poland of defensive missile interceptors, the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is paying a visit to Warsaw on 19-20 August.

Note for press: On 19 August (Tuesday) at 19.15 at Okęcie military airport, after the landing of the Air Force special airplane, a photo-op is planned with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, and US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice. Interested journalists are asked to send accreditation applications to the email address: magdalena.weglenska@msz.gov.pl, not later than 19 August 15.30. Access to the airport will not be possible without prior accreditation.

        Television crews wishing to enter the airport with transmission vehicles are asked to provide vehicle registration numbers and a detailed list of names of television crew members. For organisational reasons, we ask that you only report details of those members of television crews who will actually be present at the airport.
