    "Fight against terrorism and the EU global strategy will be the main topics discussed at Monday’s Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg. The meeting will be attended by Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski," announced the MFA Press Office.


    The chiefs of diplomacy will also talk about such issues as cooperation between the European Union and NATO, migration, and the situation in Iraq and Qatar.


    According to the MFA Press Office, a meeting of foreign ministers of the EU member states and the six Eastern Partnership states will be held on the sidelines of the FAC session. The meeting will be devoted to preparations ahead of the Partnership’s summit, scheduled for November.


    Luxembourg will also host a meeting of the "Friends of Georgia" group of countries, which will be attended by Georgia’s Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze and chiefs of diplomacy of the EU member states. The meeting will discuss the current situation in Georgia.
